Hearing the Shepherd’s Voice
In John 10:27, Jesus promised, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
What does it mean to hear the Shepherd’s voice, the voice of God? How can we hear the voice of God today? And if we listened, would it change anything?
This Fall, in both the Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies, we will look at what it means to hear the Shepherd’s voice and to follow him. Think about what a difference it would make if we could discern the Shepherd’s voice over all the other voices we hear in our world, even above the voices in our own head. Think about the difference it would make to know God’s voice as you go about your day. Think about the peace it would bring to your life to know you are following the good Shepherd, attuned to His Word and His heart.

How can I find a mentor?
We believe mentoring relationships can be very impactful in your spiritual growth. The purpose of our Mentor Program is to connect mentors and mentees as we love to see women pouring into the lives of those around them! A “mentor" is someone who is walking in Truth and is willing to share practical wisdom for daily life and relationships. A “mentee” is someone who is open to listening to wisdom from Truth and experience. Toward Biblical Womanhood - Mother/Daughter Encounter
Toward Biblical Manhood and Womanhood:
Parents play a key role in training and developing their children to be men and women of God. This requires intentionality and the support of a like-minded community. The Family Ministry of Hill Country Bible Church wants to help Moms and Dads of middle-school or high-school students cooperate with other parents to disciple and mentor their daughters & sons at a developmentally appropriate level, deepen friendships between the two generations, and impart values of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.
